Founded by Christopher C. Breen and an associate in 1973, Breen Law has provided reliable and affordable services to Burlington, Flamborough, Waterdown, and surrounding communities in the areas of Residential Real Estate, Corporate & Commercial, and Wills & Estate Administration for over 45 years.

Formerly known as Breen & Carter and then Christopher Breen Law, the firm has been an industry leader and trendsetter since day one as it was one of the first law firms in Ontario to offer flat rate and block fee pricing as a way to effectively and efficiently provide clients with the greatest value for their needs.

In February of 2017, Carson Law’s founder, J. Ryan J. Carson, was brought in as a welcome addition to the Breen team, which allowed Chris to move into the role of counsel and ease off on the grind of daily operations. Ryan brought with him an invigorated energy as well as an expanding network of resources which allowed Breen Law to increase it's geographical reach while still continuing to provide the exceptional customer service for which it was known.

Towards the end of 2018, Chris made clear his intention to officially retire as of January 1, 2019. While his staff and associates were sad at the prospect of losing daily contact with a boss, leader, and friend, everyone at the firm was excited for Chris to move into the next stage of his life on his own terms. Following Chris’ retirement, the decision was made to officially amalgamate Breen Law into Carson Law, effective as of June 1, 2019. This was done for the primary purpose of simplifying the organization’s communications with the Law Society of Ontario, banks, lenders, clients, and other law firms.

Ryan and his team have no desire to devalue the legacy that Chris established through his hard work and determination to provide quality legal services at fair prices. Thus, Breen Law will still be used as a trade name and all of it’s contact information will remain active and unchanged. Breen Law and Carson Law staff have now officially combined forces under the unified law firm of Carson Law Office Professional Corporation.
