For our tenth day of giving, we will be donating to Femcare in Hamilton, Ontario.
FemCare started out as a grassroots community project in 2015 to ensure homeless people who menstruate have access to essential items to support menstrual hygiene maintenance. After initiating a city-wide discussion on gender-equality in the City of Hamilton and the founder, Halima Al-Hatimy, realizing there was a need for policy development and research in the area of menstrual health and wellness, FemCare was created.
