Established in 2015, Triple C Farm - Livestock Sanctuary and Petting Zoo is run by Tricia, Pascal and their three autistic sons Geoffrey, Michael and Richard. The dream was to be able to provide a safe place for adults with disabilities to join the farm to learn useful skills, as well as rescue animals from re-homing, neglectful situations and auctions to give them forever homes.

Both those dreams have come true at Triple C Farm as the farm is now a fully functional animal sanctuary as well as a volunteer program for adults with developmental disabilities.

What They Do

Petting Zoo                    Movies with the Animals                  Yoga With Goats                       Alpaca Walks                 Blossom Muisk                                 Horseback & Cart Rides           Birthday Parties            School & Day Programs                   Mobile Petting Zoo Retirement Homes & LTC               Tel-a-Goat

This charity was chosen by our Legal Assistant, Denise Crockford. β€œThey always take in stray animals, have fund raisers and rely so much on the public to support them. I visited the farm for an October Movie Night, where they let the Aplacas and goats join in under the big dome and roam around and visit each family, and you can see that they need help with other things, as they give 110% to the animals. It is such a joy to go there and have the horses run over to the fence for a pat, or a goat come up and nuzzle you or a mini pony just stare at you. It’s therapy for sure.

Save Our Scruff is different from other non-profit rescues because they do not select dogs based on their size, age or breed. A DOG IN NEED, IS A DOG IN NEED!!!

saveourscruff.jpg

Save Our Scruffs mission is dedicated to preventing overpopulation as well as stopping the cycle of abandonment and neglect. They provide aid/support, rehabilitation for stray, abandoned or displaced dogs.

They work with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and trainers. From this, they are able to rescue dogs and provide them with loving temporary care while working to find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

Save our Scruff strives to position themselves as a leader on matters that promote and improve the welfare of dogs through enhancement, protection, care, education and advocacy. To help with some of this, they provide a list of resources in: Considering Rehoming Your Dog?. Connecting With Shelters, I Adopted A Dog, Now What? and Lost Dog Prevention.
